Was just having a quick look Clas Ohlson in Leeds whilst out getting my lunch and saw these USB Temp and Humidity Logger at £19:00 down from £64.99. I'm skint until payday otherwise I would have got one to have a play with. I was thinking they would be great for the cold weather campers so you know just how cold it was.

They have them online as well so if you dont have a Clas Ohlson near you, you can get it that way.

if you're interested in homebrew electronics you could easily make your own weather station from an arduino :)

might cost a little less than what you posted ... but more than mountainms device

im always making stuff from old electronics :) if you'd like a few links just let me know ....

here is a link to the arduino site ...
http://www.arduino.cc/

here's a link to a premade weather station shield ...
http://wmrx00.sourceforge.net/Arduino/arduino.html

and im sure there's a site of enthusiasts that supply a kit and compile the data on a website im having trouble finding it atm

here is another example ...
http://www.practicalarduino.com/projects/weather-station-receiver

the great thing about these boards is you can add to them and also use them for other projects.

my most recent project was a small windmill to recharge some batteries :D

http://www.wunderground.com/

is similar but not the site i was looking for.

@shewie i think that's extremely expensive for something that has 2 sensors

with the arduino's u can modify them to do whatever you like

and could build something very similar for about £20-£25 ... but as an off the shelf solution i could see why people would buy them :)

I think it's the same one Res linked to at CO for £20, just badged differently

Electronics aren't my strong point I'll be honest, it took me four hours to swap a pull cord switch in the bathroom last weekend :)
