Ok, thanks all. I've ended up going for a Swiss M32 canteen, which will serve the same purpose but provides me with a compact brew-kit, since it comes with a cup.

probably the better option if the stopper fits well the plastic bottle leak like a bugger

picked up a sigg retro version of the swiss canteen much better option although they are bigger
