I watched it - but found it a bit "lightweight" and pedestrian.
Ray makes a perfectly good presenter (better than some, such as the "Countryfile" lot, but no Kate Humble either) the wild creatures were magnificent and the photography was fine.
Not something I would stay in to watch but if it is on and I am home then I would switch on.
It is loads better than "I am an X- celebrities little brother - get me exposure" and the ilk!

Agree with that John. I guess Ray is to wildlife presenting what pink sporks are to eating. Will do the job but there are better options :D

He should stick to what he knows best!!! There are a lot of better nature presenters - I'd rather watch Kate Humble any day!!!!! :) His last series was V boring,,,,,,,,,,

Unfortunately i have to agree. I Used to think Rays presenting Style had improved over the years but he seems to have taken a step backwards. He looked disinterested and bored and didnt really engage with the camera (audience) at times even looking away whilst talking as if he had something better to be doing.

Ray always struck me as one of those types that has a computer hard drive for a brain, his ability to draw up information at the drop of a hat always impressed me (as opposed to the likes of me who have a little man in a brown coat and a filing cabinet up top! The info is still there, it just takes a little longer to find it!)

You would think that some one who was a "forest specialist" would at least do his homework if he is going to present a subject;

Very disappointed at the lack of knowledge about the fish eagle and then even more so when he blurted out " look, heres the adult male" only to have his guest point out " No, thats a buzzard Ray" !

I dont think Sir David need be to concerned at loosing his crown Just yet : )
