There was many a thing of beauty, that Damascus stabilised bushy by Mick Wardell almost had me drooling. Ever so slightly out of my price range.

Thought I'd show you a pic of my knife that won Category 1 at the show. Really chuffed so sorry if you have already seen it over on BB.

Its a vickstrom blade, nickel bolster, with chesnut, maple, aluminium and red fibre, the pommel is buffalo horn.

Hi , i had a look at your knife on sunday, better in the hand then the pic.
The knife was lighter than i thought.
I entered my son's 3 scale down woodlores but a lovely small penknife won that category.

Can't believe i missed it, was set to go until friday afternoon then i had a call for a job interview on monday :aargh4: What a swizzz! Nice knife though, just have to look forward to next year
