Indeed, I was involved with the design on BB back then, and the entire blade was designed to be very slightly under 3 inches. And thankfully that spec has remained unchanged.

That Gear Guy in his video on this uses the BOKER Plus XS as an example of one caught in the change which Hennie are still advertising as UK Legal...
I think the UKPK was designed with the help of British Blades so there would have been Lawyers involved however you might want to check out That Gear Guy taking about his recent Customs experience because one-handed openers are now on the radar apparently.
Well there was a lawyer involved but not as a lawyer - just happened to be one that was a forum member!

I think knife law a waste of time it only affects law abiding users......people that carry a knife to stab don't care about laws including offences against people .....laws are there it is illegal to stab another person use them laws and give maximum penalty

That's a different conversation wickerman, this one is just about being safe within the laws prescribed for EDC's, the OP was asking if the law had changed at all.
