Uco mini lanterns

Hi all, can someone in know help before I push the button. I like the uco mini lantern the one that takes tee lights. I can get lots of 8 hr candles free from work. Can they fit in the lantern ? It's says that there is space to carry a spare in the base was hoping if I left it empty I could use the 8 hr instead.
Any help much appreciated

Mini or micro? They both take tea-lights. The little pop up micro does accept the 8hr candles but the higher cup sides do affect the light given off at the sides ~ and you can't get a spare 8hr candle in the base of the micro .

Yes, I have the micro which only takes tea lights. You'll need the taller version for either tallow or 9 hour candles - which I think are also tallow.

Oh yes, and avoid UCO's allegedly purple unless, that is, you like Lavender ...
