Two spalted cherry spoons

The first one was a quick spoon... I'm not sold on the shape to be honest. The proportions don't feel right to me, but the wood is lovely. I do atleast like how the heart and sapwood separate out nicely.


The 2nd spoon is a chunky little number, which had some tricky knotty grain in the bowl, but I'm pleased with the dimensions and overall shape of this one, some of the facets have worked well. It is a chunker though!
