Alan Wood made me his version in RWL-34 as a replacement for an earlier version that didn't quite have the right shape.A bit like this one?
RWL-34, Black canvas Micarta over red liners.
Excellent news... I have used it on a couple more occassions since we had so much success with that one of yoursThe bead blast is holding up really well Stu. As you can see from the pics, the knife has been sharpened quite a bit and used loads too, the beaded finish is unblemished and holding up much better than the brushed. Plus it looks good to boot :You_Rock_
Exactly like that one What a beaut.
There are three Alan Wood versions, and three Stu Mitchell versions of this pattern. All of the SM's are in my hands, the AW's are out there somewhere, is it going to be a user?
Would love to know where the other two are, they are family afterall.
Afternoon fellas... I'm pleased to hear you are enjoying the knife mate, it's good to see it getting some use too
Is that AW yours now Jed?
It may be used at sometime but alas, not by me. It is a beaut though. I'm a big fan of Alans work, but there are many horses in the stable and i'm looking forward to recieving a new comission from my favourite custom knife 'Miester Tyke'.......................
.............Stu Mitchell! Hi Stu, niether of them are mine really, i'm looking after them for two little boy's. Looks like i'm going to have to get them a pair of SM special comissions as well eh! I was going to leave them my extensive collection of Leeds United replica shirts, hhmmmm, i don't think they'd be that impressed.
