Nice post mate. Just looked, I’ve been here a while (12yrs), annoyed probably everyone at times, have had kindness bestowed and I’ve given kindness back, so I’ve got a lot out of it too. Congrats on the weight loss, I wouldn’t bother to say it, but it’s obviously something that’s been dragging you down (for want of a better phrase ).

Well, I've had a lot of fun, lot of getting out and about, a lot of doing stuff, meeting folks, etc.,

I said a while ago that bushcraft really enriched my life and living, and it still does. I think it's the seasonality that keeps it moving, keeps it fresh, keeps it active.

Another one here with 17 years, can't quite believe it...Oh! hang on a minute...wasn't there a huge restructuring and change to the site around that time?....p'raps its even longer.

Still doing the leather and rope work and finding pleasure in all that the Bushcraft UK has to offer.

Yeah. There were a few animated avatars that seem to be stuck now.

I've kept the wee South Park teacher avatar. I built up the detail, but it can't really be seen. She has a wee knife in her hand and she's wearing OD and my (the only colour I could get back then other than dayglo orange or green) high UV protect with the neck cover, lightweight hat.
I still have the hat
There were dozens of those characters used as Avatars too.

Think it was when the site changed and diddn't support animated gif's - no real issue and to be quite honest quite app that I don't move half as much now as I once did
