Well, in Turkey I bought a wood burning tea kettle samovar thing. It's in sections and the base got a bit bashed when coming through baggage handling, it's still fire worthy and the tank doesn't leak, and it doesn't rock but and here's the thing - does anyone know anyone on the forum who might be able to straighten out the stainless steel base a bit - there are three dents which I'd love to have lie flat. All suggestions received probably gratefully!

A good body specialist should get them so they should only need light filling, a great body specialist could do it to make the rest of the kettle need doing too. For a price i dont think you'll get laughted at. Tin smiths or restorers should be able to get about the same result.
I might manage some pictures - someone explained how to do it from an iPad, I'll see if I can find the info. The turkey pics in general are great and the samovar is fabulous.

No worries. I worked as a spray painter and have done some panel beating and general metal repairs. i could maybe have a look and see what would be the best way to go about fixing it yourself if it's at all possible.
