After making the Owl’mups, the world’s first embroidered Great Horned Owl neck knife sheath, and then the Terrapin'mups, the world’s first embroidered Red Eared Slider compass case, I thought a fishing kit might be a good addition to the menagerie of animal themed survival kits. So, here is the Trout'mups, the world’s first embroidered Rainbow Trout fishing kit.
Managed to pack in 30 ft of 50 lb SpiderWire, 10 # 5 hooks, 5 # 3 hooks, 10 7.2 g & 5 4.31 g split shot sinkers, and 10 # 10 barrel swivels with safety snaps.
It's all in there real good. It would only come out in a real emergency. But really, this was more just a fun exercise
There's about 65 hours in this, between drawing it in Illustrator, setting up the embroidery files , running it, and then merrowing the entire edge by hand.
And the whole menagerie so far.
