I don't think you are right either Jon :D

Geoff - you know you are going to think about it anyway. And I take grave offense at the sweets - I'm not making sweets (I may well roast some coffee though :D)

It's too addictive...but my boss has just gone home ill and I'm left here by myself looking after 600 users, 20 servers and 250 PCs.

I'll give Geoff a hint - but only when Geoff and only when he admits he caved worse than a potholer wthout a rope :D

This one has me stumped for the time being. Leaf looks a bit like sweet chestnut, but the teeth are too sharp, and we've already had that one. The teeth make me think some kind of holly, but not one I've ever come across (live or in books). Time to go for a walk I think...

I don't want a clue, because I'm not playing any more! :nana: Really. I'm not going to think about this any more. I'm not. I'm definitely not.

Despite having gone through a gallery of 130 trees and not finding that leaf. If I hadn't got sweet chestnut yesterday in an earlier challenge, I would have probably gone for that, so I'm wondering now if it is a non-native species. OK, sweet chestnut isn't truly native (Roman introduction I think).

Maybe I'll go round the University Parks or the Botanical Gardens at lunchtime - just for a walk, of course.

Geoff :)

Oh Geoff, spot on - its not a native - certainly not on the list of 30 odd species. I think this one was an escapee - cool tree though

Close enough for government work SOAR!

I have it listed as a saw toothed oak but I believe they are both common names for the same species!

Well done!
