Trapper's Festival

This is an annual event that dates back many years. Other communities across the country hold similar events but this is one of the most well known.
Dog races, axe throwing, flour packing, fire starting, chainsaw carving and more.

I've been to the Ontario one in North Bay, lots o fun...didn't know Manitoba had one too...is there a fur auction in Manitoba or western Canada?.

I think there's one in Vancouver but as far as I know the biggest auction is in North Bay. I would assume most of the buyers across the country ship down your way, as it seems the most well known.
