Hi I've been using this machete last few times I've been out in the woods and really enjoyed the change from an axe.the handle that comes as standard on these are minging so I thought she deserved something better.this is my second go at a handle so it's not great by any means but I just thought I'd share what I've been up too and get into the spirit of the forum.it's a peice of ash I had left over from some shelves with some brass pins through the tang.i tried a parachord wrap for the handle but I'm not sure if I'll leave it on.cheers andy

Nice work, although I would loose the string as it is hiding any damage that may happen and the beauty of the wood itself.

Cheers I might get some leather throng further down the line.i will say though that the parachord does make it very comfortable in the hand
