Toolshed Find

So, found this baby in our communal toolshed. Obviously the handle has been worked to fit the head. Guessing that the head is an old Hultafors agdor hatchet?





Anyway, I was pleased to find it. Considering giving it a little TLC very soon.

I reckon it's 10-20 years old. My HA felling axe bought in about 2000 has the same painted head and handle.

Lucky axe to be found by someone who will give it the time and attention it needs

If the handles tightly fitted, a douse in linseed oil at the head and heel and an oily wipe of the shaft would do it.
