Tooling leather

I've made a fair few things out of leather but never really done any tooling....

Until now.

Thought I'd share a WIP of my first real attempt.

It's not as easy as the YouTube videos make out!

Will keep the thread updated. Hopefully other people will share their work too.

nice one Mike, good work with the pear shading too, that's one i find can be a bit tricky to get the right depth. it's addictive

I worry I'm overdoing it. My problem is always knowing when to stop.

The pattern is an Al Stohlman. Can't claim credit for that.

That looks great Mike, the backgrounding seems to flow in to each other quite well. that's ussually what I struggle with the most.

Thanks! The pebble shader really helps to blend it in. Before that my bevels stood out like a sore thumb
