made from the decking plate from the battleship tirpitz, handled with olive wood by sparks sheath also by sparks,
pics are crap and dont do it the justice it deserves,
any chance of some more info Wayland?

That is a nice job Spoony.

Yes Stefan Hugel was the maker of the blade, alas he is no longer with us due to a hunting accident.

It was made in the smithy at Lofotr Viking museum on Lofoten in Northern Norway.

I'm afraid he never told me what the other steel it was pattern welded with was but I know from experience that they are cracking blades.
