Tinder box flint

While in a museum this summer I saw a tinder box which had in it a flint that had been specifically knapped to be used with a striker. I was rather taken by this but was unable to take any photographs of it so heres a very rough sketch with guestimates of the size.

Would it be possible for any of you flintknappers to make one for me?, I'm more than willing to pay or trade for it.

It was the same colour as the gunflints I bought from Kranks years ago and will go in a 3.5" diameter tinderbox. I've dropped the museum a line to see if they have a pic of it to send me.

Can't see the pic mate, but is it by any chance trapezoidal in cross-section, .5+" wide and say 2+" long?

it was approximately 3 inches by 1.25 by 0.34

Looks a lot like what are for some reason called 'fabricators'. Take a few blades off a core and they start to look like that naturally... though if you want a double bevel each side you'll have to retouch it.

I may have some goods to trade that may be of interest to a knapper, I picked up a three prong antler/horn last week and I could chop the tips off, I belive they are used in flaking bits off?
