This afternoon me and the dog were in the woods when it got very dark.
Then there was the mother of all thunderstorms.WOW,what an experience

It was great. The rain was so heavy it looked like it was foggy, the lightning was brilliant and the thunder was deafening.

It lasted for about ten minutes and then eased off .Pity I hadn't bothered to take a coat.

Hi...

Thunder and lightning also amazes me. :D Somebody thinks it's dangerous, it is, but only if you are on a field and your the highest point.

I got caught in a storm yesterday afternoon while out with my dogs. When it started it wasn't too heavy so I just put my Ventile on, then the heavens opened big style..... Out came the poncho....
The light show was fantastic and the thunder was deafening... Brilliant!
My two Border Collies weren't very keen on it but my Springer didn't even notice, too busy with the smell of rabbits. Very busy little dog that one, his rudder never wagging and he tries to be six places at once.

I once heard a great story from a golf tournament during a bad storm; Lee Trevino once said that if you get caught in a thunderstorm you should hold a 1-iron over your head, because "not even God can hit a 1-iron." - Always made me chuckle :rolmao:
