I have just picked up a laplander sheath, a gb small forest axe sheath and a possibles pouch from singtek, and they are beautiful!

This work is really very lovely, and represents a real bargain,. So chuffed! Well done to you! :You_Rock_

Good isn't he :D

I sometimes feel that people must think I'm on commission or something - but his work really is a bargain!

His work is quality, and anyone who enjoys leatherwork deserves a pat on the back in my book. :)

Very nice Red......I will have to put up a photo of an axe mask that Longstrider did for me, he has good leather skills too......I want to have a go at it all myself, since doing the bucksaw, I have enjoyed pottering about in the shed, doing stuff....
How are you getting on with your little axe btw.....My vaughan mini axe is my fav tool, next to my marshaltown brick trowel and my S&J tapered shovel.....

I don't own a digital camera, and my mobile wouldn't do them justice I am afraid. I've taken some with my canon and i'll put them up when they are developed and put on to disc.

:)

Jon,

I like it very much - I want to work on the bevel a lot more yet to thin it and smooth it right back to the eye to make it really perform but its great as is. I like the sound of your other buschcraft tools - your shelter building must be awesome ;)

Ha ha, yeah, I make a damn good permanent shelter.....You would be amazed at what you can use a shovel for though..... I suppose I had better get into work now its stopped raining and use it......
