Just returned from a great overnighter with Scout and Morch. We setup camp for the night in one of the local forestry commission woods.

Scout and Morch made a fantastic tea and made delicious stovies.

It was the first time that I had tried out our new hammocks and tarps which were purchased through the DD group buy that Sandbag arranged.

And it was Jims first time camping and hammocking!

I had a chance to test my new hobo stove and it worked a charm.

All in all a fantastic night out, great weather, great company and great chat. Thanks guys it was a pleasure. We've decided to get out at least once a month and have identified the next five location in the local area. I am looking forward to it already.

P.S I'll never sleep in a tent again!

It was a great night. Nice and chilled out.

Although there was a heavy shower around 15:00, we managed to stay dry and warm.

Had a great time, Jamie was brilliant and Dan is great company. Oh and Nath was al-right to his enthusiasm is contagious and is what keeps me going at times, so cheers bud. Looking up and watching the sun coming through the Beech trees was beautiful. A fantastic relaxing time, only wish the rain and 45 mph winds forecast hadn't arrived, otherwise we'd have still been there
