This might be of interest to a few people - audio interview with one of the last traditional Fenland eel catchers on the BBC website.

I love the Fenland landscape - it gets a bit overlooked sometimes in favour of the National Parks - but I think it's one of Britain's most important natural areas. It's nice to see that some skills are hanging on.
