Took some of our kids and a visiting chap over to the woods on the Longleat estate today and they had a go at making a shelter and did some foraging.

and did some faraging,ben found loads of wood sorrel:

between them identified several food plants:

spearmint.

plantain.

Burdock.

After all that hard work it was time for a brew up.

has been well used for sure! had it 5 years and its been out for at least 500 occasions ,it still holds just over 2 pints.

Well, last time I went to Longleat, there wiz LIONS in amongst the trees....!!!

Looks like a great day out, even if you did drop the Kelly off a cliff....
