I bought my pair from Alfa, a Norwegian company, I believe.....

Alfa is a Norwegian brand, but their boots are made in the Baltic (and possibly Asia), not Norway.

But I don`t think it matters where they are made as quality was in decline already before they moved Production overseas.

Being the militarys supplier isn`t nesseccary a quality stamp anymore, sadly..

My military boots, I always soaked in hot water, went for a run and then wore them all day, before slathering them in polish once, not brush it off and then another run to false the salt out.
Changing a socks frequently to to text my feet.
Modern boots, treat with G Wax before first wear and then polish (cos I like a shine) g waxing occasionally.
