Did anyone watch this?
It showed a football player running in one of the most extreme ultra marathons in the world. He had only 8 weeks to train. They covered 147 miles in 5/6 days over the driest desert in the world.
I found it very good as the footballer was suffering with a knee problem after day one and after day two he also had a suspected broken toe, yet he kept on going.
They said it in the program and I thoroughly agree "it is a tribute to the human spirit that he managed to finish". I also noticed that they had Mike Stroud as one of the advisors for the team and some of his incites as an extreme sportsman himself were very good. :biggthump
