The estate who owned the site put the price up to a level that it wasn't sustainable for Tony to continue there
We have been using the Rough Close for Bushcraft meets for many years and more recently for our Retro / Steamtent camps.
I understand people’s nostalgic attachment to MM but I genuinely think people will love the new site.

Primarily tarp ground dwelling, hammocks, tents, tepees, yurts and assorted other camping shelters.
There 's a few that stay in campervans and the occasional caravans. I'm not sure what arrangements Tony has for caravans at the new site. They might be restricted to the carparks.
The tent is packed, but wife asking about caravan. Nice to hear it is primarily camping. Showers?
The main toilet block have very good quality and, more importantly, very clean showers with plenty of hot water
I'm not sure about the other shower blocks but they ought to be a good standard
