fun idea, but looks awfully complicated for what neednt be a complicated process. Have had some great smoked food cooked in a mini tipi on a campsite, just a few short poles with some fabric wrapped round them and the food supended inside with a shovelful of coals and chips in a hole in the ground topped up as needed. Course, you can make permanent smokers too, but the cloth or leaves tipi sort is great for impromptu food extravaganzas
