the balanced stack on the right above looked more and more like totem pole carvings

the nearer you got, like beaked eagles and we hadn't opened the wine yet

but after a brew using an Optimus #96 (running on paraffin ) We opened a bottle of South African Pinotage and put the simmer ring baffle on to cook
Risotto Rice with Porcini Mushrooms, cooks blowtorch to prime and light stove

I haven't been to Brimham Rocks for ages!!!
I went there with school when I was a kid and have been back a few times - and Stump Cross Caverns.

Last time I went to Brimham I had to help a pair of lads down off some rocks after they got stuck - they are alot easier to get on than off!!!

I love and I hate the Teddy Tours.

Love them, because I see all the places from around where I grew up.

Hate them, because I see all the places from around where I grew up.

Having left the West Riding in the late 1970s I do miss that rugged landscape. I remember a junior school trip to Brimham Rocks, which must have been in the late 1960s.

I did have an amazing experience about 3 years ago when I got back to visit Menston on a Friday afternoon and took a chance to go to Menston Junior School. They were open and I was able to wander around the school, not having been there for nearly 35 years.

Keep up the good work. You'll make me happy and sad.
