So recently i saw some tanned fish hides on a course.
Foolishly i didnt get the process from the individual who did it
Ive had a book recommended to me but its out of print (shockingly) and copies are expensive (shockingly)
Was wondering if anyone could kindly share their method with me?
Im familar with hide tanning process so i understand terminology
Thanks in advance

All I know about it is get a bucket with a lid that has an airtight seal and unless you want to really upset your beloved don't open it indoors  :lmao:

I made some at the Moot the other year - very stinky!
Basickally you steep the hide in cold tea then work oil into it until it goes from slimy to leathery.... hours of hard smelly work!
