Swedish Cold Weather Trousers

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with trousers like these?

Warm? seen any black ones? approximate weight?

I thought about using them to replace a sleeping bag, in combination with a warm jacket and bivi bag, hoping that it would be lighter and more versatile.

Yes, No, just over a kilo

They are the M90 trousers to go with the M90(Varmjakke?) parka - also known as the 'coma coat' by some of the Swedish military.. I have read somewhere on here about soldiers using the trousers and parka instead of a sleeping bag. I'm sure one of our Swedish members can provide more info

I have a pair. Heavy, bulky and warm yes. Can be used in conjunction with the cold weather parka to make a makeshift sleeping bag. Cold though, and I found it a bit restricting to sleep in a full set of michelin man clothes. Not available in black, and I don't have a scale, but I would guess that they weigh above the one kilo mark.

Thanks guys, You've answered my questions spot on. I think they may be a little heavy for my uses.
