Swan feathers

I got 4 nice swan feathers today, all fresh off the swan, and all about the same size (12"/30cm from tip of quill to the feather end, with about 8"/20cm of feather).

What can I make with them, or how could I use them?

(I'm not into archery, so fletching is out, before anyone suggests it)

It's similar to osprey but not as nice as barn owl...

the big primary feathers from the herring gull are equally as good really ,i use swan,goose heron porcupine and gull feathers for floats,my grandfather used to use condor primarys when he could get them from various places.heres a pic of a swan feather being dressed:

I didn't know they could even fly.

Depends if it has a rocket up it's ...
I have a very old porcupine float along with an old bamboo rod, float works really well when I used to use it.
