Just a teaser until I can get some daylight shots up. Fresh off the drawing board we have mark III of my Svord sheath design (given the last two got swapped)

Mark 2 is my favourite also and has a good home, however this is more practical. I think the second version had more character, whereas this was better planned. Mark 2 evolved.

Aye, but the tight wet formed look of Mark II came about from me making it slightly too small. Once wet formed the stitching pulled so tight I had to unstitch and resew the entire sheath to make sure the artificial sinew wasn't under too much stress. The planning enabled me not to have to do this.

that looks very cool! My svord gets very little time out of the drawer because of the awkward carry, this is a very elegant solution.

The dangler came about from driving with the belt loop version being worn - it felt uncomfortable as it wouldn't flex. Mark IV is already planned to be a multicarry!

see as a non driver i wouldn't of thoiught of that as an issue. mind you i don't think i would wear it on the belt for day to day carry anyways
but that does make sense
