Actually I'm impressed with my bergan. 3x3 tarp, hammock in the side pouch. Crusader cook set in the other. Sleeping bag spare cloths in main sack. Axe on the side, thermorest, blanket and underlay roll under the hood. Still room in the bag for some grub and bits.

I've got 2 sleeping bags, underquilt, XL tarp, hammock + suspension, spare clothes & blanket in the main section & it's rammed pretty full. In warmer weather I'd take one sleeping bag only & possibly lose the UQ.

I've got Swedish Trangia, multi-fuel stove, fuel bottle, cast iron frying pan (heavy!) in one pocket, food in the other, both pretty full. The axe will strap behind one of those pockets & my groundsheet will clip under the straps

I will be off in a bit. Apologise for not posting recently but have been mega busy at work, so am looking forward to this one. See you all in a bit. Dave

Thanks for another great evening, sorry I had to dash off early but I'm sure you'll cope without my input...

See you all in April... assuming it gets booked!

Great weekend again, thanks everyone! Spandit you were missed on Saturday night, we had to lower the tone ourselves! Big thanks to Peter for the burr. See you all next month.

Glad to hear everyone had a good time. As I didn't make I'd be interested to hear how hammering an edge on the O1 toolsteel went.
