Sad not to see you, Colin, hope things resolve themselves soon.

Jack isn't coming and I'm working Friday night so there won't be a parachute to sit under unless someone collects it from Jack

I'll grab my big tarp and ropes and bring that if it helps.

Looking at the forecast for the weekend we'll be needing something to shelter under for Saturday night.

Take it easy Elen and don't wear your joints out lifting all those biscuits.:)

Is that your legendary 6.5m x 6.5m Tenth Wonder Tarp?

A parachute is good to have if it is rainy. I will PM Jack to see if I can pck it up from him or someone else.

I hope every gets well soon & gets their issuses sorted out. I will say hello to those of you that are coming to the Moot. Wayne from Forest Knights bushcraft school may be popping in to say hello, he said, which will be fun.

I will be down around 1pm on Friday.

You've got the choice of two large tarps

This one which 5mt x 7mt I think and will accommodate everyone very easily :) but needs 2 trees to suspend it from

Or my Tenth Wonder tarp which is actually 4.5x4.5 mt and can sit ten people but would be a bit cramped :)

Sod it... I'll just bung both in the back of the car and we can decide tomorrow which to use.

Bring the big one along if you can. I have PM'd Jack about the chute but am not sure if I will be able to pick it up from him.

Already in the car :)

We'll need to make some pegs for it, is there enough suitable material lying around that we could use?

Edit: I found some hazel so we're good for pegs :)

C3 is what I booked. If we are on another pitch I will update the thread when I get there; if in doubt ask at the office.

i will see if I can pick the chute up along the way, so may be along a little later than 1pm. I will bring my electric spit along, so will probably do a chicken on it on the Saturday night if people are interested.

This should be a good meet if the weather holds up, so am looking forward to seeing you all soon.

2pm: I am still doing some paperwork then have do a few errands, so will probably be down at around 4ish.

Camp is all set up & there are 7 of us so far, so it should be a good one.

I pcked up the parachute from Jack's porch on the way, as I was in the area.
