They're not up to much, but a far as I know they're the only place that sells the LK35 rucksack. Unless anybody knows different? Otherwise I not buting anything unless I'm actually in the shop.

i thought forums were supposed to let us air our views. So what if some company with rubbish service loses buisiness, they deserve to people who take money and dont fulfill obligations are scum in my mere opinion

Aren't you the bloke with TWO WILD EAGLE OWLS PERCHED ON HIS WASHING LINE.?

Unless you know why a company hasn't delivered I can't see how you can comment either way. Unless you are just out to slag everyone off and talk a load of rubbish.

have i started somthing
when i made the order they never stated to me the product was out of stock nor in three weeks of them having my money in there bank did they even as much of email or phone me to state the fact they didnt have the product this is why i was upset about the company
and yes i have talked to the company about this
am sure if you had ordered somthing of the internet and had paid in good faith and not got anything in return then you would also be fedup to
i thought this was a place where people with same interests could chat with eachother as if we were sat around a fire together without having to be to pc
am sure if somebody else had a bad experience with a company or person or good experience i would love to know
cheers guys

Good and bad.
Perhaps using the search engine would have shown you previous threads on this very company and on this very topic.

Giz, I'm sure we'd happily sit and blether round the fire, but I'm kind of predisposed to feel unhappy at a newbie joining the forum and launching straight into a rant against something or other without a previous introduction. Too much like using us like a blunt instrument.

Thank you for your input gentlemen, but this thread is going nowhere, adds nothing to the forum except rancour.

Thread closed.

p.s. thanks whoever did :-)

I ordered some stuff from GAS, item was described as new when it was clearly worn, and it was the wrong size.

Emailed them numerous times, no reply.

Rubbish service.

I don't really care WHY they didn't deliver, I tried to contact them and they didn't bother to come back.

Maybe the site could have a reviews section, there's loads of review sites on the net, like other have said its not libel unless its a false claim that harms the reputation of business or person.

Libel is determined in a court room, not on an internet forum. How much of Tony's time energy and money do you want to spend defending a libel case?

Bought from them once, no problems.

There are a lot of sites out there that I've bought from and many of them seem to be small operations. In the past I've worked in an Internet sales dept which even though it was part of a high street retailer with dozens of stores across the UK, there were only actually three of us dealing with all of the online orders. The stores always got the stock before us which sometimes made it difficult to get orders out in a timely fashion. So I can sympathise with both the customers and the retailers when things don't go smoothly.

I'd always recommend that people be patient with online retailers and I've found that a friendly email asking for info often gets you further, and if you can't wait then ask for a refund. The 3 - 4 days to get your money back is standard and is down to the banks, it takes them that long to process a refund request.

I think Mary did forget something ;)

But since I agree with her, I have rectified the oversight.

On the matter of libel. I looked into it a while ago and found that it is a complicated, legalistic subject and simply nowhere near as clean cut as "if you stick to the truth you will be fine". As anyone who has been involved in a motoring accident can tell you, the "truth" depends on perspective and can become a very slippery thing when the lawyers get involved. The level of proof that would be enough for you to take your position may not be enough for a court of law. Also, the laws haven't entirely caught up with technology in that the owner of an interent forum is treated much like the publisher of a magazine, ie. they are expected to be legally accountable for everything that goes up on their site, even if that content is written by members of a forum .
