Summer Solstice 1st Under Quilt Hammock trip.

Hi folks.

Well it was as good a time as any to give the under quilt a try. Travelled up the west side of Loch Tay and nearer the top end we found a layby (well a swollen bit of road really) and a nice spot with a beach.

This is the first time with an under quilt and I have to say after 8hrs kip I won't be going back to an inflateable mat!!!!! It was rally easy to get centred into the hammock and I used my sleeping bag as a top quilt. Much easier to get in and out of.

A nice spot it is and a defo place to return too. It was a bit harder finding a spot on the ewest side but much quieter than the east side.
