Great week end, thanks every one, and some good photos too. Got back home around 2 this afternoon, and jumped straight in the pool to cool off. I will be working out how to string up my hammock tomorrow for next time and cutting down on the amount of gear I have been bringing along.

Hi all... just got back from xrays.

Separated plates behind my right shoulder, hairline fracture on my right leg, pinched the sciatic nerve, and they have concerns about a couple of vertebrate.
So... going back in tomorrow for further xrays and examination.

Did make it home safely, though I had to stop a half dozen times along the way.

Still annoyed that I didn't get to see the weekend through :(

I have got permision to use two woods here, I am thinking working in Pairs for safety reasons, and spending one night in each wood, sticking close to the kit list, the idea being that it is used as a way of finding out more about how kit was used and perhaps finding new skills, and revive interest in older skills some of us have but dont use... the two woods will be used on both nights by pairs crossing past each other when swaping, some may use the walk between the woods as a way of seeing more of the soundings countryside.

A Website about Mountain men in the same sort of era of boon but packed with Info...
http://www.mman.us/index.htm

Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October-TBC - Monthly Meet.

The wife picket up a 20l round oil can yesterday for the little project we were talking about last weekend, I think it will work well as a former, much easier than buggering around with lots of sand
