tried the snow hole, didn't like it tbh, too confined for my liking, it may have been better if I'd had more depth of snow to make the thing larger inside but alas.....
I was warm and comfy enough mind.....

Funnily enough the only snow hole / quinzhee I ever feld claustrophobic in was actually the biggest.

Possibly because I was aware of just how much snow I would be buried under if the thing collapsed.

i thought that in a snow hole you slept and hung out on the higher platform and allowed the cold air to seep into the trough. Chilly night?
