Well i have finally got hold of a issue bivvy bag and i was wondering how you guys store/transport your bags, what i mean is do you roll them, use a compression sack,or fold them.
When I used a large pack, the bivvy made a useful pack liner with everything stuffed inside it and then rolled down. Either that or I would fold it into a flat square and place it in the top of my main compartment.
For storage it doesn't really matter, you can roll it up or just stuff it into a bag any old how. What you want to try and avoid is folding it on the same crease lines over and over again, this can affect the membrane but we're talking over a seriously long period of time. I wouldn't worry too much about it as they're tough as old boots, just avoid punctures in the woods
