Found these prints in the snow along the top of a drystone wall yesterday, and wondered if they might be stoat

There was certainly stoat food about, and it looks like something scared this one :lmao:

Stoat prints are about 35mm and weasel about 15mm, £1 coin is 22.50 millimetres (0.89 in). So more likely to be stoat tracks. Sorry this took a while, had to ferret around for the sizes.

Was thinking on top of a wall it could be squirrel tracks as they often use them as highways over rough ground but tracks a little too large. Unless that old snowmelt tracks getting bigger thing happened. No sign of tail drag?

Cool bushwhacker, can't see the pics too clearly, but often see squirrels go along walls whereas stoats/weasels only over them.

Thank you people (even Goatboy :)). How disappointing for it to be squirrel. I've never seen squirrel there, although there's no particular reason why they shouldn't be. I've never seen stoat there either, but they are more elusive.
