I finally got fed up and made a really big push at getting my garage sorted out.
It doesn't really look like much but believe me, it's a BIG change! I should have taken a pic before I started but forgot!
As happens, moving in everything gets dumped in the space. I actually took loads of tools and bits to work and stored it there to give space to move. It's mostly been there ever since!
The shelving hat was there was either too big or too small and no workspace.
Everything got moved from one wall into the middle, one worktop sorted, high shelf above - not too high, not too low.
Then everything from the other side moved over to again build new shelving to accomodate two crates stacked and a sensible depth while working round all the stuff
Then rebox and restack.
Then the far corner and end wall to dismantle the old mezzamine type affair at the end without crushing the heat treat oven and start the high shelf. There'll be another worktop here ready for but it may just end up as storage for a while.
It has been a real push to get this far. For lots of people it'll be nothing much but for me, it's quite a thing! Reorganising a full room without emptying it is quite tricky work. I now have clear floor space to move and need to do more pushing on of actually putting it in order now that I can move.
Soon the belt grinder can come back home.......
