They have been using these at work and I am part way through converting one. I will try to take pics later!

The steel is ~2mm which is a bit challenging for my level of skill with an arc welder but I have used rivets where I can!

I made my forge from one of these too!

It's thinish steel but I lined it with an inch or so of fireclay and it seems to be holding up OK.

I saw one of the larger calor gas bottles like this dumped near where I live. It did have a square cut out the top of it which got me thinking you could maybe convert it to be a stove, though I wouldn't like to try it myself!
