The Mendips are lovely for a good old tramp. If you're looking for course, Goblin Combe Environment Centre near Cleeve and Charterhouse Activity Centre may have something you'd like.

Thanks ill have a look at there courses. Just want to get out there now but i fancy buying a tarp and hammock instead of carrying my tent

Erm yes, i own a 5 acre field thats rough and quiet but not much in the way of trees

You could plant a few?!

I get ash and goat willow saplings popping up in my tiny garden, so you're welcome to a sapling or two if you fancy it? (Probably easier to wait for them to colonise your field, or find them locally though as I'm a bit of a way from you).
