It's a fixed blade but rather than a sheath it has a little guard that folds out from the handle.
I use the clipper with a simple kydex sheath body when I'm shooting, no belt loop as it's just slipped into a coat pocket or game bag, the spyderco is an even simpler solution.
It can be operated quickly and easily with one hand and no sheath to loose.

It's an interesting design. What stops the cutting edge from coming into contact with the fold out blade cover?
