Spoon

Hi All
A friend of mine said her mum had a fret saw that belonged to her husband that was not getting used and would I like it?
So I said yes please and offered money in exchange, but she said just make her a spoon.
Well I don’t really make a lot of this type of spoon, I make more rustic practical types with their own beauty from the grains miss shapes and quirkiness.
So thought I’d have a go at something she can look at and remember the types of work her husband used to make.
I hope I’ve done him proud

To be honest I don't know what wood it is, its a soft wood and very easy to carve with,
