Spoon kolrosing

Just thought I'd post some pics of a spoon that I made for my niece at the weekend, its made from silver Birch, kolrosing and finished with coffee and flax seed oil.

Nice. Kolrosing is where you cut into the wood with a sharp knife or a v gouge and then rub finest ground coffee grounds into it?? How did you do yours?

Thanks indoorscout and Alf, jeannius I used a sharp knife to cut into the wood and then used fine ground coffee to rub into the cuts.
