  • Hey Guest, Early bird pricing on the Summer Moot (29th July - 10th August) available until April 6th, we'd love you to come. PLEASE CLICK HERE to early bird price and get more information.
Good evening everyone,
I would like to show a spoon and spork that i made during the summer. The spoon is made from sycamore, and the spork is made from blackthorn,i think.Anyway it is carved from a piece of wood that i found in the middle of a field, that as hedgerows around it. The hedgerows had recently been cut. Both spoon and spork have been finished down to 600 grit wet and dry.The spork has had a coat of alkanet root oil stain and both, have been oiled with walnut gun stock oil.The sycamore one is also my third attempt at a wood spirit.Because of the finish that i put on them, they are for decoration only. The woodspirit has been highlighted with wood stain.
