I thought you might all like to see the leather work made for me by this piece by the ever talented topknot.

He sent me 5 lumps of leather

The mask is obvious but the rest needs some explanation perhaps.

The piece on the bottom right is a belt sling - rather like a maglight loop. It goes over your belt. When limbing etc you can just drop the helve through the loop and keep the axe out of the way

The part bottom left of the top picture is a shoe - it fastens over the foor of the axe helve like this

The two longer pieces are an adjustable baldric that fasten to the mask and shoe. The axe can be carried diagonally across the back when out foraging keeping it out of the way until needed

If you ever need some leather work doing - topknot is another in the "talented bloke" stable!

Topknot is the man for leather work. I still have to send my Stuart Mitchell gifts to my daughters from last christmas to Topknot for some leather work! Unfortunately, my unemployment days had put paid to it for a while, but I'm hoping they will be good to go soon what with the job front looking a lot better now.

Overall, you've got yourself a pretty stunning set up there Red, fashioned by two of BcUKs' top creators of fine work. An item to be proud of.
