Some cool lighters

Saw this short the other day showing different lighters, some i've seen before and others not, but all very cool.

Love them, even though I quit smoking years ago there is something immensly satisfying in all these kinds of gadgets to make fire. I still carry a zippo in my pocket every day.

You could spend a fortune collecting all the variations, and don't even start me on collecting Zippos...

Nowadays lighters seem to be crammed in with the miscellaneous dusty junk of letter openers, odd forks and broken watches for sale as a job lot at the end of an auction. It pays to look closely through every such box just in case...

They're very interesting Tony, useful bits of pocket treasure. Like you say Tantalus, very satisfying. There's always boxes full at the collector's markets near me. Might have to pick up a couple for s&gs.

Those are elegant lighters, with classic style. Nothing like our throw away cheap modern ones
