I came across this series on water treatment by a YouTube channel that I had not heard of before. I've so far only watched the first episode on boiling, but he seems quite thorough in his experimentation, research and explanation. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series and thought some others may enjoy it and find it useful, too.

I'd not heard of a 'WAPI' before!

I found this online , thought it was just useful .

I may print a few of for Nalgene bottle and I see they do larger ones for NATO type jerry cans.

Yeah, simple devices and pretty easy to make but getting an appropriate wax that melts at the right temperature seems a pain.

He has some other interesting myth busters, like blowing up your inflated mat with your breath reduces it's R value (which in his opinion is false). His channel is really worth a browse.
